Raymond's Guarneri model violin is influenced by the Lord Wilton 1742. This example is from the middle period of Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu's work when he maintained great consistency and a high level of craftsmanship.
Measurement: body length 352 mm
The expressive power of Guarneri violins is a result of several characteristics from the design and positioning of the C bouts and f holes to the thicker graduations. Many violinists feel that there is a typical del Gesu sound with exceptional qualities and ease of playability.
